A translation residency per year can be given to translators at the beginning of their career (in a country of the language that they translate from).

The fellowship covers travel costs, accommodation, and subsistence (2 weeks = 500 Euro, 4 weeks = 1,000 Euro, 6 weeks = 1,250 Euro).

  2. Writing residencies for authors: 2, 4 or 6 weeks. Writers (of all genres) get the chance to work on their text. The hosts will organize at least one public event with the visiting author.

The fellowship covers travel costs, accommodation, and subsistence (2 weeks = 500 Euro, 4 weeks = 1,000 Euro, 6 weeks = 1,250 Euro).

  3. Interdisciplinary cooperation residency: 1 - 4 weeks. Authors or translators collaborate with an artist from another discipline and work on an interdisciplinary artistic project in the city of residency. As a rule, the residency is a cross-border cooperation. A collaboration of an author with a translator is possible. Criteria: the 2 (or more) partners present Traduki with a convincing project in which the literary dimension must be clearly expressed, where the two disciplines meet on an equal footing.

The fellowship covers travel costs and accommodation for the visiting artist, as well as subsistence for the visiting and the hosting artist (250 Euro per week per person).

  4. Practical exchange residency: 1- 6 weeks. This residency is aimed at book and literature relevant professionals: booksellers, publishers, editors, librarians, journalists and critics, archivists, literary agents, managers of literature houses, festival managers and staff, literature lecturers, literature scouts including translators etc. They receive a visiting program organized by the partner or a practical placement in an organization or environment relevant to them.
